From what I seen on their website, Mikasa Beauty is a fairly new brand that reaches out to beauty enthusiasts to spread the word of their brand. They contacted me to get my opinion on their makeup brushes and I gotta say that I am really in love with their Techni Brushes. They’re not just a makeup brush company. While they do have makeup, hair care, hair tools and even lashes, their ‘main event’ is their brushes.

I was actually in the market for new brushes anyway when the marking director contacted me, I was really excited. I did my research first because I’ve never heard of the company but I seen there were other reviewers as well so I decided to give it a go.

I got a cream blush, blending brush, an eyeliner brush, retractable lip brush, concealer brush angled brush and their four set Techni Brushes. The previous four are great and I’m glad I got them because I needed new brushes. But what really struck me was their Techni Brushes.

I’ve never owned oval brushes before and I really wanted to try them but I didn’t know where to start or who to buy from. Well, since Mikasa Beauty was reaching out to me and just so happen to be a makeup brush company, i started there. And wow!

The brushes pick up plenty of product even though they are super soft. The bristles don’t feel harsh against my skin. I feel like I’m being pampered as I apply my products.

Now, if you’re a parent, have you ever gotten that baby brush with the soft white bristles? That’s what it feels like but fuller. That’s the closest I can describe it in words lol.

The head is slightly tilted for easy glide and reach so you’re not brushing your face the way you brush your teeth. The handles are easy to grip with a rubber center on the front and back but smooth on the sides. They’re easy to work with and the only thing I’d say could be improved is the brush numbers.

While the non Techni Brushes are labeled with a number on their handles, the Techni Brushes are not. The numbers for them can be found on their original boxes that they come in but how many if us keep the boxes? I don’t mind too much because I’ll still use them. But if you’re one who likes to follow along with a makeup tutorial and want to know what brush number of the Techni Brush to use, you’re out of luck.

Overall I think Mikasa Beauty Brushes are great quality for the price you pay for them. I’ve been using them for a few weeks now and I would definitely recommend them. But don’t just take my word for it, check them out for yourself. Use the code at the site below to save 25% off.
